A short film showcasing an epic sci-fi adventure across the multiverse
Story:
In my sophomore year, I decided to participate in the iVIE Awards again. Instead of entering in the #LoveElectric category like before, I decided I wanted to create a sci-fi short film. Inspired by the marvel multiverse, I wrote a script where Alice, the main character, is called by the Guardian. She journeys around different worlds, interacting with different versions of herself to save the multiverse.
Reflection:
This film was the most difficult out of all the iVIE Films I have created. Unlike the previous films, which were pure animation. This film was a blend of live-action and animation, starring me as Alice. I ran into challenges with filming as I didn’t have a green screen, I improvised using a blue sun cover as my “green screen”. This film was intended to cover all of Alice’s adventures but ended up only showing the first due to time constraints and limits on the submission. I ended up submitting in the “Experimental Films” and was nominated.
